Frances Dove and Denis Murphy
Designers /Artists

Denis Murphy and Frances Dove met when they were students at Chelsea School of Art, Frances Studied Fine Art and Denis “Fashion & Textiles at Central Saint Martins”. The new partnership in Fashion/Art began in 1997 when they set up the vintage London Label ‘FDS’ (For Design Sake). Customising original “old School” vintage T-shirts. (Nike, Puma, Disney, Adidas) with spontaneous over-printing using foil tape stripes, splattered paint, scribbles, and rubberised inks. Selling to stores in the UK and around the world. Using their silkscreen-deconstructed techniques, collaborations with Nike and Dr Martens followed.
